Held at the end of July ~ early August each year, this festival is popular as a summer event among tourists. In addition to the 'catching Eun-uh' program, this festival offers a variety of activities to enjoy, such as tasting charcoal-grilled Eun-uh and learning about the rare freshwater fish that inhabit Bonghwa at the freshwater fish exhibition center exhibiting Yeolmogeo (freshwater salmon), Sancheoneo (trout) and Shiri (Korean splendid dace).
