This cultural festival reproduces the unique and traditional folk plays of Bonghwa. This is a space to experience the traditional culture filled with the wisdom of ancestors and the generosity of the Bonghwa people. Cheongnyang Culture Festival began in 1980. Held in October each year, this festival offers the unique enjoyments of Bonghwa. The programs include Ogwangdaenori (mask play by five clowns), folk food fair, Notdaribapgi (crossing Notdari bridge), making glutinous rice cake and Gilssamsamgi (hand weaving).
