
Seungbu Station, a small country town station, is surfacing as a new tourist attraction. From mid December to February of the following year, the Loop Line Snow Festival train service is offered to enjoy the magnificent snowscape. This tour course includes a monument bearing an autograph of the former president Lee Seung-man erected for the opening of the Yeongam railway route as well as Yonggwanbawi Rock, Chulleongdari Bridge and Tugubong Mineral Spring. In addition, visitors can experience the taste and charm of a country town at the agricultural and local specialty products market.
- Yonggwanbawi Rock
- General Jeolchung, the 7th generation of Jeonju 'Lee' family, named this rock 'Yonggwan (a dragon's coronet). Each year, he performed a sacrificial ritual to the rock and the family enjoyed great fortune for generations. The rock located on the other side of the station is Dragon's Rock. The deep water in front of the rock is Gultongso and the mountain behind Yonggwanbawi is Yongdeung Peak.
- Tugubong Mineral Spring
- During the period of the Japanese invasion in 1592, the loyal troops were almost in the state of defeat at a fierce battle due to stomach troubles and allergies to poison ivy. The soldiers took off their armors and helmets. They drank the water from this mineral spring and put it on their bodies. Then, they were cured of the diseases and ended up winning the battle. Since then, this mineral spring has been named Tugubong Mineral Spring.
- Chulleongdari Bridge
- This suspension bridge is the only way connecting the residents of Seungbu Station area to the outside world. This 70m bridge offers a host of exotic views.
- Monument for Yeongam Line Opening
- This monument bearing an autograph of the former president Lee Seung-man was erected to celebrate the opening of the Yeongam railway route.
- Fantastic Snow . Maple Trail
- A 1.5km trail along a valley of crystal-clear water is surrounded by maples in autumn and snow in winter.
